Job summary

LBD Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent Safety & Health Coordinator to uphold WSH standards on construction sites in Singapore. You will conduct site inspections, promote IMS compliance and assist with accident investigations to prevent recurrence.

You will also lead safety briefings, inductions, drills and training, while coordinating actions to mitigate risks and improve overall WSH performance across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in building or civil construction.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Energetic, self-driven and results-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills to enhance team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company's IMS requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and Regulations.
• Conduct routine checks on work activities on site to identify WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices
• Assist in investigation of all site accidents.
• Conduct safety briefing / training when required.
• Conduct emergency drills and/or any WSH programme identified
• Address and provide advice on specific instances of WSH non-compliance and unsafe work practices.
• Conduct safety inductions and orientations.
• Contribute suggestions to mitigate reoccurrences of incidents and accidents.
• Support implementation of actions to improve WSH performance and control risks.
• Monitor effectiveness of implemented improvement actions.

Job description

• Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health / Safety coordinator course (Level B)

• Completed WSH Coordinator Refresher Training (WCRT)

• Proficient understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

• Qualified candidates should be energetic, self-driven, and possessing a results-driven attitude.
