Job summary

KINGPOINT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an EHS professional to oversee daily toolbox meetings, conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety rules and customer requirements. You will monitor on-site performance and advise contractors on safe working methods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily Toolbox Meeting and random checks on contractors’ EHS.
• Conduct onsite inspections to ensure EHS compliance with safety rules, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Monitor contractor on-site EHS performance and record violations for EHS admin.
• Advise contractors on safe working methods and EHS matters.
• Support actions to improve WSH performance and risk control.
• Assist with management of EHS programs and stakeholder awareness.
• Assist with management for all WSH related matters.
• Initial emergency response on site and reporting to EHS manager.
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily Toolbox Meeting, conduct random check on contractors’ members ensure understanding of daily EHS highlights.
• Conduct dailyonsite inspection ensure EHS compliance to safety rules, regulation, SMM and customer requirements.
• Monitor contractor onsite EHS performance, record any onsite EHS violation to EHS admin for recording.
• Advise contractor on safe working method or any other matters pertaining to EHS.
• Support implementation of actions to improve WSH performance and control risks.
• Assist with the management of EHS program and promote awareness to all stakeholders.
• To support and administer all WSH related matters
• Initial response to any emergency onsite and report to EHS manager
• Assist with the management for investigating, identifying possible root causes of accident and determining measures to prevent occurrences
• Other duties that may be assigned by the company

Requirements

• Advance certificate in workplace safety and health (WSH Level B)
• WSQ Managing Work at Height.
• Good communication skills in English &Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
