Job summary

Tung Lok Catering in Singapore is seeking a diligent Wok Cook to prepare and cook stir-fry dishes with a wok, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.

You will operate and maintain wok stations, follow recipes, and support the kitchen team during busy service hours. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work weekends and public holidays. Physical stamina and strong communication help ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
• Able to perform split shift, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wok station and surrounding areas.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or needs to the kitchen supervisor.
• Assist with prep work and other duties as needed.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
