Job summary

Club Chinois is seeking a skilled wok chef to prepare and cook stir-fry dishes, ensuring consistent taste and presentation at all times. You will operate and maintain wok stations with precise heat control and timing, and follow recipes with accurate portioning to minimize waste.

In this role, you’ll store, handle, and prepare food per safety standards, collaborate with kitchen staff during service, and maintain a clean wok area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
• Able to perform split shift, work on weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
