Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking a Windows Infrastructure Expert with 5-10 years of experience in Windows Operations, virtualization, and automation. The role leads technical initiatives and supports enterprise Windows environments in a financial services setting.

The ideal candidate will drive service improvements, manage critical incidents, mentor the team, and ensure production readiness of new solutions with a strong focus on automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8-10+ years of Windows Infrastructure Administration experience.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, Hyper-V, Windows Failover Clustering.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Python automation.
• Experience with Active Directory Windows patching tools and processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills, including RCA, high severity/critical incident handling, problem management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Windows infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and SLA compliance across enterprise environments.
• Drive technical excellence by mentoring team members, assigning technical tasks, promoting best practices, and supporting skill development.
• Manage critical incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), resolve complex problems, and identify risks associated with technology changes.
• Champion automation, service improvements, and operational efficiency through continuous process optimization and adoption of new technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, project teams, service managers, and stakeholders to support transformation initiatives and ensure production readiness of new solutions.
• Act as a key escalation point for clients, maintaining service quality, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Must have 8-10+ years of Windows Infrastructure Administration experience;
• Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration,Hyper-V, Windows Failover Clustering;
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Python automation;
• Experience with Active Directory Windows patching tools and processes;
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills, including Root cause analysis (RCA), High severity/critical incident handling, Problem management.

Desired Skill-set

• Preferred candidates will bring expertise in VMware technologies, HPE infrastructure, and ITIL-based operations, along with strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Prior experience in large enterprise or financial services environments will be considered a significant advantage.
