Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience supporting Windows infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline preferred.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure, Windows Server) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Perform incident and service request management in accordance with SLAs.
• Execute server patching, maintenance, and operational activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting Windows OS, Hyper-V, VMware, and Failover Clustering issues.
• Support Active Directory administration, including user and group management.
• Monitor infrastructure health and elevate complex issues to L3 teams when required.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Follow operational procedures, security policies, and compliance requirements.

We are seeking a Windows Engineer to support and maintain the enterprise Windows infrastructure environment. The role will focus on day-to-day operational activities, incident management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, patching, and supporting Windows-based platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of Windows infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
• Perform incident and service request management in accordance with SLAs.
• Execute server patching, maintenance, and operational activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Good knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Basic to intermediate experience with Hyper-V, VMware, and Failover Clustering.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows patching tools.
• Understanding of server hardware platforms (HPE, Dell, Cisco UCS, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of networking and storage concepts.
• Exposure to PowerShell scripting is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure, Windows Server, or related technologies) are advantageous.
• Experience in a banking or financial services environment is a plus.
