Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics is seeking a skilled welder to join our precision metal fabrication team in Singapore. You will produce metal parts to exact specifications by operating metal cutting, forming and finishing machines, and weld sheet metal using MIG/TIG techniques.

You will read technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine weld requirements, inspect finished parts with measuring tools, and maintain a clean, organized workspace in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Welder: read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine welding specifications.
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding techniques and material properties.
• Check accuracy of parts produced with measuring instruments and visual checks.

Responsibilities

• Produce metal parts to defined specifications by operating various metal cutting, forming and finishing machines.
• Welder: operate welding torch to bond sheet metal parts together.

• Produce metal parts to defined specifications by operating various types of metal cutting, forming and finishing machines - Welder: operate welding torch to bond sheet metal parts together.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG) and material properties.
• Reading technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine specifications.
• Check accuracy of parts produced with measuring instruments and visual checks.
• Record timing in production order when jobs done.
• Maintain and clean his tools and work area.
