Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks an experienced Application Support Engineer to join its Application Services team. You will analyze incidents, manage queries from users, and ensure production stability for Wealth Management and related channels across onboarding, compliance tooling, and advisory workflows.

You will work with risk, regulatory and finance stakeholders, resolve incidents, implement permanent fixes, support release management, and provide on-call coverage as part of a rotating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in Credit Risk, Regulation, & Finance applications within banking/financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Microsoft .Net, SAS technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to front or back-office operations business processes and systems.
• Possess understanding of front-to-back bank processes and work with Risk, Regulatory & Finance stakeholders.
• Resolve production incidents and related processes, focusing on root cause with permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with IT units to reduce Level 1/2 incidents and contain rollbacks.
• Provide on-call/on-site support on a rotational basis and after-hours/weekend support as needed.
• Contribute to functional and technical specifications for bugs or enhancements; assist in release planning and testing.
