Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a site-based supervisor to oversee water infrastructure maintenance, including supervising contractors, watermain cleaning, flushing, and valve operations to ensure reliable water supply.

Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering is required; a Class 3 driving licence is preferred for driving PUB vehicles. Work location is Woodleigh Complex / non-shift.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering (required).
• Class 3 driving licence preferred; driver for PUB vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise servicing of appurtenances carried out by contractor.
• Supervise and carry out watermains cleaning operations.
• Projects to improve water reliability and quality in the water supply network.
• Supervise handing/taking over of newly laid watermains; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and carry out flushing of watermains operations.
• Supervise and carry out valve operations to aid watermains maintenance and repair works.
• Supervision of NEA dengue hotspots, tracing of missing valves, and liaising with SCDF.
• Distribute water bags/notices and provide temporary supply to affected customers during water interruptions.
• Carry out administration work including generation of Work Orders and Completion Certificates.
