Job summary

GovTech Singapore seeks a Diploma holder in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering to supervise contractor work on water infrastructure at Woodleigh Complex, non-shift. You will oversee watermain operations, flushing, and valve tasks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include admin duties like Work Orders and Completion Certificates; Class 3 driving licence is preferred for PUB vehicle duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering is required.
• Willing to work at Woodleigh Complex and non-shift arrangement preferred.
• Class 3 driving licence preferred; may be required to drive PUB vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise servicing of appurtenances carried out by contractor.
• Supervise and carry out watermains cleaning operation.
• Projects to improve water reliability and quality in the water supply network.
• Supervise handing/taking over of newly laid watermains and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Supervise and carry out the flushing of watermains operation.
• Supervise and carry out valve operations to aid maintenance and repair works.
• Supervise NEA dengue hotspot activities, tracing of missing valves, liaising with SCDF.
• Distribute water bags/notices and provide temporary supply during interruptions.
• Carry out administration tasks including generation of Work Orders and Completion Certificates.
