RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a General Manager for Waste Management / Environmental Services to oversee overall operations, drive profitability, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

The role leads multiple departments, manages budgets, implements safety and sustainability initiatives, and focuses on continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a strong background in waste management, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage complex

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree an advantage.
Minimum 5 years in waste management or environmental services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of waste management operations, disposal methods, and environmental requirements.
Valid driving licence and own car for business needs.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the waste management facility.
Develop and implement processes for collection, transportation, processing, disposal and recycling.
Develop and execute long-term business strategies, operational plans, policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities for growth, cost optimisation, and revenue generation.
Establish and monitor KPIs; manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
Review and present financial and operational reports to senior management.
