Job summary

ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS (ASIA) PTE LTD is seeking individuals to join our Field Services and Production team to oversee safety around our hazardous waste operations in Singapore. You will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations and MOM guidelines, and identify and mitigate risks across storage, transport, treatment and disposal.

Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent, 5 years' experience in hazardous waste

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in hazardous waste management or chemical process safety.
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) or Occupational Health & Safety.
• WSH certification or MOM-recognized qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the organization, ensuring compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations.
• Ensure adherence to local environmental, health, and safety laws, including MOM guidelines and ISO standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with hazardous waste operations, including storage, transportation, treatment, and disposal.
• Health and Safety Program Development; Audits and Compliance; Training and Education; Incident Management.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring safety round the operations of our Acid Treatement & Recovery, Thermal processes, High Temperature Incinerator and Industrial Waste Water Treatment System for Hazardous Waste, Waste Plastic to Oil Conversion process.

General Responsibilities

Safety Leadership:

Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the organization, ensuring compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all local environmental, health, and safety laws, including the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines and ISO standards for safety and environmental management.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with hazardous waste operations, including storage, transportation, treatment, and disposal.

Practitioner of Sustainablity and WSH

Minimum of 5 years of experience in hazardous waste management or chemical process safety.

Certification in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or equivalent MOM-recognized qualifications.
