Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in waste treatment or industrial plant operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management methods and recycling practices.
• Proven budgeting, financial planning and resource management capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the waste management facility, ensuring efficiency across collection, transportation, processing and disposal.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, policies and procedures to drive long-term improvements in waste management and recycling.
• Manage budgets and financial performance, preparing reports and forecasts while identifying opportunities for growth, cost reduction and revenue generation.
• Establish and track KPIs to monitor operational progress and staff performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards and sustainability best practices through audits, inspections and corrective actions.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive work culture and continuous improvement.
