Job summary

Teknor Apex in Singapore seeks a Warehouse Support specialist to manage daily housekeeping, MHE operations, and material handling. You will receive, inspect, and unload shipments, perform put-away and picking, and liaise with production to issue materials timely.

Requirements include secondary education, 1 year in warehousing, MHE familiarity, and strong teamwork. A forklift license is preferred; safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Min Secondary 4 / GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ / Nitec or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse MHE.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning for all MHE to prevent dirt and debris.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized and safe.
• Operate Forklift, Reach Truck and VNA Truck safely.
• Receive shipments, verify against PAD, inspect for damages.
• Unload raw materials with proper labeling.
• Inspect FG pre-loading for shipments and seals.
• Load FG by customer, shipment, items and quantities.
• Pick and pack orders for shipment.
• Put-away raw materials and finished goods.
• Aide production by issuing Raw Materials per MO list.
• Conduct routine stock checks and physical counts.
• Ensure documents are received and understood before activities.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain compliant warehouse.

Job description

Role and Responsibilities

1. Housekeeping:
   • Perform daily cleaning for all MHE to prevent dirt and pellet debris.
   • Always keep the warehouse clean, organized, and following safety guidelines and protocols.
2. Material Handling Equipment (MHE):
   • Able to operate Forklift, Reach Truck and VNA Truck safely and efficiently.
3. Import Activities:
   • Perform receive incoming shipments of goods, verify their accuracy against Put-away Document (PAD), and inspect for damages.
   • Perform unload incoming raw materials with standard practice and ensure labels are accurately affixed.
4. Export Activities:
   • Perform pre-loading inspection for all FCL, LCL, and Local Malaysia shipment to ensure outer appearance of FG was intact, container no. and seal no was tally and condition of container was seaworthy to loading.
   • Perform loading FG according to customer name, shipment number, items, and quantity to ensure completion of loading without any discrepancy.
5. Picking & Put-away:
   • Perform picking and packing orders for shipment, ensuring goods are accurately pulled and packaged for delivery.
   • Perform put-away raw materials and finished goods by following standard practice such as physical location and quantity must tally with system.
6. Issue RM Support Production:
   • Able to liaise with production and issue Raw Material to support on time based on a MO picking list.
7. Inventory Management:
   • Perform routine stock checks and assist in conducting periodic physical inventory counts.
8. Administration:
   • To ensure proper documents have been received and understood the work content in order before performing warehouse daily activities
9. Safety Compliance:
   • Always follow the safety procedures to maintain a hazard-free and compliant warehouse environment.

Education Qualification & Work Experience

• Min Secondary 4 / GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ / Nitec or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
