Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and administration operations, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

You will lead a team on pick & pack and cross dock activities, manage cargo movements, liaise with customers for documentation, and ensure KPIs for receiving are met.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Warehouse Management or Industrial Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse/logistics.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse/logistics.
• Strong supervisory and team leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Report to Warehouse Manager and manage daily warehouse operations.
• Lead a team on pick & pack and cross dock activities.
• Oversee inbound/outbound cargo movements.
• Liaise with customers via email/phone for documentation.
• Ensure KPIs are met for receiving activities.
• Address discrepancies and damages with customers.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory housekeeping.
• Supervise export shipments and local orders documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Job description

• Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the incumbents will be responsible for the daily warehouse and administration operations
• Supervise & lead a team of warehouse operators on pick & pack and cross dock activities
• Supervise all movements of cargoes in/out of the warehouse
• Liaise with customers via e-mail & telephone for all documentation and administration matters
• Ensure Key Performance Indexes are met for all receiving activities
• Follow up closely with customers on discrepancies and damages
• Conduct daily cycle counts and housekeeping of inventory
• Supervise and ensure export shipments/local orders, including documentation are delivered on time
• Perform other job related functions as and when assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Warehouse Management and/or Industrial Engineering
• 2 years of relevant working experience in warehouse/logistics
• Fast Learner with good supervisory skill
• Ability to work in fast pace and dynamic environment
• Service oriented and a team player
• Competent in MS Word and Excel
• Work Location: Bulim Avenue or Benoi Sector (West Region)
