Val-Technik Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Warehouse Operator to maintain an efficient, organized warehouse, receiving, storing and distributing goods while supporting inventory control. You will report to the Heads of Operations and ensure accuracy in stock records and documentation.

You will handle packing, labeling, and coordinating with sales for delivery schedules, operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with SOPs and audits.

Formación

• Nitec or diploma in Inventory Management, Logistics or Engineering required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.
• Able to work independently with proactiveness.
• Forklift license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in receiving goods and inspect against documents.
• Unload, store, and organise items in designated areas.
• Record goods received in the system and perform stock checks.
• Prepare packing lists, pick, pack and label orders.
• Coordinate with shipping for local and overseas shipments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe and obstruction-free work area.
• Follow SOPs and assist with audits and stock reconciliation.
• Support ad-hoc duties as required.

Due to Val-Technik’s plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operator. You will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for maintaining the overall efficiency and organization of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as assisting with inventory management and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate should be reliable, physically fit, and possess excellent organizational skills. You will report to the Heads of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving goods, inspect goods to ensure that the goods received are of good quality and quantity against the documents
• Assist in unloading and unpacking incoming shipments, carefully handling, and storing items in designated areas.
• Recording and updating goods received in the company system where required.
• Conducting regular inventory checks, maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with stock replenishment.
• Prepare Invoice & DO/Packing list for orders and includes picking, packing, and labelling products according to delivery order/packing list.
• Coordinating with external party for shipment arrange for both local and overseas shipments.
• Coordinate with the Sales teams regarding delivery schedules.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that storage racks are free from obstructions.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and follow standard operating procedures to minimize workplace hazards.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures.
• Assist in internal and external audit activities relating to warehouse and inventory records.
• Support stock verification and reconciliation exercises.
• You may have to perform ad-hoc duties whenever required.

What should I bring?

• Nitec/diploma in Inventory Management, Logistic or Engineering.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
• Proactiveness and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit to work in a warehouse environment.
• Candidates with forklift licenses (preferred).
• Fluency in English; other languages are assets.
