Job summary

KONGSBERG in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse & Logistics Specialist to support and coordinate logistics across the supply chain. You will work with freight forwarders, internal teams, and authorities to ensure smooth import/export processes, classification, licensing, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in logistics/trade compliance, and are proficient in MS Office, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC/ITE qualification or Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics and trade compliance.
• Ability to collaborate and perform in dynamic environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Meticulous and customer-oriented with good temperament under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow company administrative guidelines and procedures
• Be active in cooperation and information flow within department and between departments
• Follow up incoming mails in system
• Systemizing and archiving all correspondence
• Conduct screening; expedite potential matches and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Review and maintain import/export declarations, ensuring accuracy of customs value, Incoterms, and tax treatment
• Manage permits / licenses / TradeNet® and ensure accurate documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, COO, SLI, AWB/BL
• Prepare, plan and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
• Maintain accurate shipment visibility and track & trace; communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders
• Receive, dispatch, pick and pack of rental and repair equipment including spares inventories
• Undertake ad-hoc projects/ duties which can be assigned from time-to-time

Are you a detail-oriented logistics professional with strong expertise in import/export operations and trade compliance? We are looking for a capable Warehouse & Logistics Specialist to support and coordinate our logistics activities across the supply chain. In this role, you will work closely with freight forwarders, internal stakeholders, government authorities, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of import/export processes, customs classification, licensing requirements, and logistics operations. You will also play a key role in managing compliance risks, identifying opportunities for duty and tax optimization, and driving continuous improvements in logistics efficiency and regulatory compliance. Key Accountabilities (Responsibilities)

• Prepare, plan and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
• Maintain accurate shipment visibility and track & trace; communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
• To received, dispatch, pick and pack of rental and repair equipment including spares inventories
• Required to undertake ad-hoc projects/ duties which can be assigned from time-to-time

Qualifications, Experiences, Skills and Knowledge (Requirements)

• Higher NITEC/ITE qualification, Polytechnic Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field. Candidate with direct experience will be considered.
• At least 2 year experience in logistics and trade compliance
• To possess correct attitude and mindset in collaboration
• To be able to perform in dynamic environment by multi- tasking
• Occasional after office support will be required
• To be able to maintain good temperament even in hectic situations
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• Meticulous and customer-oriented person
• Ensure customers’ satisfaction on the quality of service
