Job summary

MLS Logistic Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Personnel to maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts across warehouse operations. On-site support at hospitals or other sites may be required.

You will coordinate with internal teams, investigate discrepancies, and help drive process improvements while ensuring SOP compliance. This role offers on-site logistics work and opportunities to optimize stock control processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience with warehouse operations, inventory control or inventory management.
• Good Excel skills with formulas, PivotTables, data analysis and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Able to investigate discrepancies independently and identify process gaps.
• Willing to travel to hospitals or other locations for inventory counts when required.

Job Overview

The Inventory Operations Personnel is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring effective inventory control across warehouse operations. The role covers cycle counting, stock-taking, reconciliation, discrepancy investigation, system governance and operational support.

The position requires close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. On-site support at hospitals or other inventory locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory accuracy.

• Plan and prepare cycle count and stock-take schedules.

• Generate count sheets and relevant documents for inventory-counting activities.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to arrange and carry out cycle counts and stock takes.

• Perform inventory reconciliation upon receiving completed count results.

• Conduct detailed investigations into inventory discrepancies and identify the root cause.

• Review operational processes, system transactions and supporting documents during discrepancy investigations.

• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory accuracy and prevent recurrence.

• Provide system governance for SAP and in-house WMS software.

• Support system maintenance, master data accuracy, user access and transaction controls.

• Troubleshoot system errors and coordinate issue resolution with the relevant parties.

• Provide system and process training to the operations team.

• Perform on-site support for inventory counts at hospitals or other locations when required.

• Communicate and coordinate with customers and other external stakeholders on inventory-related matters.

• Manage product destruction activities, including coordination, documentation, system updates and inventory reconciliation.

• Support operational improvement and system development projects.

• Participate in system testing, process review, user training and project implementation.

• Prepare and maintain inventory reports, investigation records and supporting documents.

• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), company policies and warehouse safety requirements.

• Perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.

• Relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or inventory management.

• Good understanding of inventory movements, cycle counting, stock-taking and reconciliation.

• Experience using SAP and warehouse management systems is preferred.

• Good Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, data analysis and reconciliation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on inventory and data accuracy.

• Able to investigate discrepancies independently and identify process gaps.

• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Comfortable communicating with customers and external stakeholders.

• Able to conduct system and process training for operations teams.

• Willing to travel to hospitals or other locations to support inventory counts when required.

• Experience supporting system development or process-improvement projects will be an advantage.
