Job summary

IDS MEDICAL SYSTEMS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an organized Inventory Planner to ensure seamless planning and execution of stock-related tasks. You will coordinate with internal teams, service providers and external partners to maintain inventory levels and timely issue resolution.

You will create purchase orders, verify forms, support physical counts and generate reports for management while seeking process improvements to cut cycle times and costs. Strong Excel/ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain/Business/Logistics or related discipline.
• 1–2 years experience in Supply Chain is advantageous.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with purchasing and inventory management modules of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and execution of inventory management tasks and activities.
• Ensure proper inventory levels and prompt issue resolution through planning and coordination with internal/external parties.
• Oversee daily inventory management activities including document, information, product, and operations workflows.
• Create Purchase Orders and ensure compliance with inventory management and purchasing policies.
• Verify Order/Justification forms aligning with SOPs for inventory management.
• PO Management in pricing, delivery dates and revisions to ensure smooth downstream processes.
• Communicate with Principals/Suppliers for deliveries confirmations and expediting where needed.
• Review and verify inventory adjustment requests with supporting documents before updating the system.
• Support physical inventory count and reconciliation of counts.
• Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and optimise costs.
• Support management and cross-functional teams with reports, analyses, and updates.
• Any additional ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Job Scope:

• Responsible for the effective and seamless planning and execution of inventory management related tasks and activities.


• Ensure proper inventory levels and prompt issue resolution through inventory planning and coordination with internal parties, service providers, and external parties.


• Oversee daily inventory management activities encompassing document, information, product and operations workflows.


• Create Purchase Orders and ensure compliance to inventory management and purchasing policies.


• Verify Order/Justification forms in alignment to inventory management SOPs.


• PO Management in areas of Pricing, Delivery Dates and revisions so as to achieve smooth downstream processes.


• Communicate, liaises & expedite Principals/Suppliers for deliveries confirmation.


• Review and verify any inventory adjustment request with corresponding supporting documents prior to updating the system.


• Support physical inventory count and reconciliation of the count result.


• Continually strive to challenge the processes to improve efficiency and productivity, reduce cycle time and optimise cost of conducting business.


• Support management and cross-functional teams/internal stakeholders with reports, analysis, and updates.


• Any additional ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain/Business/Logistics or any other related discipline




• Minimum 1-2 years experience / knowledge in Supply Chain will be advantageous




• Fluent in both written and spoken English
