Job summary

LIHONG PLASTIC TRADING in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to support day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure efficient inventory and order fulfilment processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and warehouse staff to coordinate activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant warehouse or inventory management experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and stock management.
• Ability to organise work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel or inventory systems.
• Physically fit for warehouse environment.
• Hands-on, reliable and willing to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the warehouse.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate the preparation of customer orders for delivery or collection.
• Ensure goods are properly stored, labelled and organised.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight low-stock or replenishment requirements to management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and delivery personnel as necessary.
• Assist in planning daily work schedules.
• Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness and proper handling of goods.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist management in resolving operational issues.
• Prepare basic inventory and warehouse operation reports.
• Assist in improving warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned by management.
