Job summary

Givaudan Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to perform daily warehouse tasks safely and efficiently, including forklift operation, goods receipt, packing, put-away and picking for shipments. You will help maintain accurate inventory, comply with ISO 9001, GMP, Halal and RSPO standards, and participate in continuous improvement projects as part of a collaborative Asia‑Pacific team.

Qualifications

• Min N or O level or equivalent.
• Physically fit for warehouse duties.
• Forklift license is required.
• Familiar with WMS and RF devices.
• Able to read and communicate in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Handle inbound and outbound activities, including unload and receive goods.
• Validate, pack, issue and load goods as required.
• Put away goods to designated storage areas.
• Pick goods for shipments based on pick lists.
• Receive, prepare and pack goods for shipment per customer requirements.
• Operate, inspect and maintain daily power industrial vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in continuous improvement.
• Support Quality System compliance (ISO 9001, GMP, RSPO).

Warehouse Assistant - Your future position?

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible to carry out daily warehouse tasks in a safe, effective and efficient manner. The main tasks include Forklift Truck operations, manual cargo handling and packing, and electronic transaction of inventory movement.

Main Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, safe work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Handle inbound and outbound activities as assigned.
  • Unload, validate and receive goods
  • Validate, pack, issue and load goods
• Put away goods to designated storage / application areas.
• Pick goods for shipments or production consumption based on the pick list or instructions.
• Receive, prepare and pack goods for shipment according to the customer’s defined requirements.
• Operate, inspect and maintain daily on the assigned power industrial vehicles (PIV).
• Perform necessary housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Quality System Compliance
  • Maintain and support all site activities according to accreditation standards in the scope of the QMS ISO 9001, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Halal & Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

Requirements

Professional profile includes

• Min N or O level or equivalent.
• Physically fit to work in warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of work instruction under the ISO9000 quality system.
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Able to perform as a team player with good working attitude
• Able to read and communicate in basic English
• Able to handle heavy physical work
• Must possess a valid forklift license.
• Familiar with standard warehouse work processes.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
• Have experience in using scanners or RF devices.
