Job summary

Givaudan invites a Diploma or Undergraduate student in chemistry-related fields to join as a Quality Assurance Intern in Singapore. This desk-based internship carries no lab work and requires credit-bearing participation.

You will help generate QMS documentation, collect quality metrics, and prepare reports while supporting audit follow-ups and data updates. The role focuses on QA data, process improvement, and collaboration with the QA team as part of ongoing site CI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or undergraduate in chemistry-related fields; credit-bearing internship
• Desk-based internship with no lab work
• Basic QA documentation and data reporting exposure

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Collect and report quality metrics (complaints, non-conformances, MOC).
• Run reports on QMS performance and key statistics.
• Follow up audit findings and update local documents in Opentext.
• Provide admin support for customer questionnaires and halal/environmental data updates.
• Support QA data to demonstrate CI and daily/visual management improvements.

Quality Assurance Intern – Your future position?

Location: 1 Pioneer Turn

Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality Management System documentation is generated, maintained, stored and archived in compliance with company internal procedures.
• Responsible for on-going collection of quality metrics e.g. Complaint data, internal non-conformance data, MOC and reporting appropriately.
• Run reports including key statistics and findings for the Quality function in relation to QMS performance.
• Follow‑up with process owners on audit findings of the maintenance of appropriate local documents including work instructions, procedures and manuals etc. in Opentext.
• Administrative support on customer questionnaire, complaint findings consolidation, halal approval list update, environmental results tabulation.
• Support QA related data that demonstrates the effectiveness of QA processes and its application in Site QA continuous improvement (CI) processes such as daily meetings (SOED) and visual performance management.

Your Academic Requirements

• Diploma or Undergraduate in relevant fields such as Chemistry, Biochem, Biotech, etc.
• Taking up this internship as a credit bearing/school requirement
• NOTE: Please do take note that this is a desk based internship, and there are no lab work responsibilities
