Job summary

Swagatham Global Connect in Singapore is seeking a Supervisor Shipyard / Marine to oversee daily shipyard activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.

The role requires coordinating with engineers and crews, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining records in line with drawings, specifications, and MOM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily work activities at the shipyard site.
• Allocate tasks to workers and technicians according to project requirements.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed within the scheduled time.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, workers, and management to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and company procedures.
• Monitor the quality of work and ensure required standards are maintained.
• Inspect work areas and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Identify worksite issues and coordinate with the relevant team for timely solutions.
• Maintain daily work records and provide progress updates to management.
• Ensure workers follow all applicable shipyard safety procedures and company regulations.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and communicate work instructions and safety requirements where required.
• Coordinate manpower and resources to meet project targets.
• Perform other supervisory duties assigned by the company.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: SGD 1,300 per month
• Overtime: Available, subject to company requirements and applicable regulations
