ST Engineering Marine Ltd. is seeking a qualified professional to lead MRO planning and execution for naval vessels at our Singapore facilities.

The role involves coordinating with customers, internal stakeholders, and contractors to ensure high-quality workmanship and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has a marine/mechanical/naval architecture background with 2–4 years’ experience and SAP knowledge as an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture Engineering required.
  • 2–4 years' experience in marine industry in similar role.
  • Knowledge of shipyard production trade activities.
  • SAP knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, track and control MRO activities in consultation with Squadron.
  • Be the point of contact and manage direct customers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on ship's MRO requirements and ensure safety and timely completion.
  • Manage improvement or new business exploration projects undertaken by the office.
  • Lead and build up database of internal defect investigations and trend analysis.
  • Submit monthly reports and service acceptance; take on secondary roles as needed.

Job description:

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, track and control ship's Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) activities, in consultation with Squadron.
  • Be the point of contact and manage direct customers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. IWF, yard, contractors) on the ship's MRO requirements, ensure quality work is done safely and completed on time.
  • Manage improvement or new business exploration projects undertaken by the office
  • Lead and build up database of internal defect investigations, fault diagnosis and defect trend analysis.
  • Timely submit monthly reports and Service acceptance.
  • Take on secondary roles to support the day-to-day operations of the office.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architecture Engineering
  • Possess Supervise Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate
  • Possess 2 to 4 years' experience in similar capacity from marine industries.
  • Knowledge of shipyard production trade activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good leadership, customer-orientated and able to communicate well with all levels.
  • Willing to work overtime and on weekend when required.
  • Possesses SAP knowledge is an added advantage
  • Only Singapore Citizen will be considered for this role

  • Location: Pioneer Sector (Daily Transportation Reimbursed To and Fro)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
