Job summary

Swagatham Global Connect is seeking an HVAC Engineer in Singapore to plan, supervise, and coordinate HVAC installation and maintenance in shipyards and marine settings. You will monitor installations, troubleshoot faults, and ensure compliance with drawings and project requirements.

Priority is given to candidates with HVAC engineering experience in marine, shipyard, offshore, or industrial environments. Knowledge of safety procedures and documentation is essential for reporting progress to

• Candidates will be assessed based on their relevant experience, technical skills, qualifications, and suitability for the position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate HVAC installation and maintenance activities in shipyard and marine environments.
• Monitor HVAC system installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance works.
• Inspect HVAC equipment, systems, and components to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system faults and coordinate corrective maintenance.
• Supervise technicians and workers during HVAC installation and maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, technical specifications, and engineering documents.
• Ensure HVAC works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, contractors, and other technical personnel.
• Monitor work progress and ensure assigned activities are completed within the required schedule.
• Conduct inspections and support testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials at the worksite.
• Follow all applicable shipyard safety procedures and company requirements.
• Maintain proper technical records and report work progress to management.
• Perform other HVAC-related engineering duties assigned by the company.
