Job description

Reporting to Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and supporting smooth daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and attend to guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages according to company service standards
• Assist guests with menu enquiries and provide recommendations when required
• Ensure tables and dining areas are clean and properly set up
• Clear tables and reset them promptly for the next guests
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth food service
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally or escape when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant
• Assist in replenishing service items, condiments, and beverages
• Follow company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and service standards
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management
