Job summary
KLA-TENCOR (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to drive improvements on established product lines and lead sub-system design and analysis.
You will integrate sub-systems, troubleshoot tests, and participate in early supplier involvement for technology and NPI programs. Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical engineering with 7–9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in hardware engineering or product development and manufacturing operations.
- Technical understanding of wafer inspection and metrology products.
- Strong technical, business, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of product life cycle, ECO, and SAP systems is desirable.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement on current product line through design improvements and processes.
- Work on sub-system design and analysis for both current and new product line.
- System and sub-system integration, troubleshooting and test.
- Support and lead early supplier involvement in technology and NPI programs, balancing technical and business needs.
- Support achievement of business objectives including tech and product requirements, cost reductions, and problem resolutions.
- Responsible for supplier training and development for wafer inspection and metrology products.
