Job summary

KLA in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join the LS-SWIFT Division. You will design, develop, and integrate wafer-handling systems for high-volume manufacturing, collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, and NPI to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires strong skills in FEA, GD&T, prototyping, and Python/MATLAB for analysis. Travel up to 20% internationally may be required. We offer an inclusive environment with a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with prototype assembly, testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication in English and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate mechanical systems and wafer handling solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture.
• Analyze system requirements, budgets, and specs for modeling.
• Develop prototypes and perform integration, testing, and validation.
• Ensure designs are scalable for High Volume Manufacturing.
• Create assembly, testing, and diagnostic documentation.
• Coordinate project activities and manage issues.
• Provide regular project updates and risk mitigation.
• Identify and drive product/process improvements.
