Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Singapore is seeking a Lending VP to lead the structuring and execution of financing solutions for UHNW clients and Family Offices across the APAC region. You will work with Coverage, Business Risk Management, Investment Solutions, and Lending teams to drive growth while ensuring credit discipline.

You will mentor junior team members, manage complex transactions, and collaborate with internal and external legal counsel to close deals, all within regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Credit Structuring, or Lending Solutions within a leading financial institution.
• Experience structuring bespoke financing solutions for UHNW clients, Family Offices, and complex borrower structures.
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills.
• Understanding of credit risk management principles including concentration risk, covenants, collateral, and risk mitigation techniques.
• Experience with large exposures, extended credit facilities, policy exceptions and bespoke financing.
• Knowledge of lending documentation and transaction execution with internal/external counsel.
• Strong communication and concise report-writing abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse cultures and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• To support the structuring and execution of tailored financing solutions for clients (UHNW clients and Family Offices) in the Southeast Asia and South Asia market region aligned with risk appetite and internal credit policies.
• Focus on financing solutions against liquid to less liquid assets (Share Backed Financing, Real Estate, Alternative Investments, Structured Products).
• Handle both flow transactions and cases with exceptions to credit policy, large exposures, or complex risk profiles.
• Participate in new business initiatives and product development to enhance the credit platform and drive growth.
• Attend client meetings with Sales/Coverage to discuss structured product features and coordinate with lawyers and clients on documentation to close transactions.
• Monitor ongoing transactions and assist in drafting marketing, deal execution materials and internal desk reports.
• Shape credit-related processes, policies, and platform enhancements.
