Job summary

HSBC is seeking a VP, Regional Trade Asset Distribution-ASP in Singapore. The role focuses on structuring and executing distribution for Asia Offices, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• GTS Structured Trade Finance knowledge.
• Understand risk distribution processes and non-payment insurance.
• Ability to structure bespoke distribution solutions.
• Strong knowledge of GTS systems and Microsoft Excel/Access.
• Experience in a Global bank structuring multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• Past working experience in GTS structuring, distribution, or Portfolio Management.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP, Regional Trade Asset Distribution-ASP

In this role you will:

• Support Transactors and Frontline Sales Managers in structuring, implementation and execution of GTS distribution for Asia Offices including liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Negotiate with investors on distribution documentation and explain operational flow/ requirements to ensure smooth deal execution
• Monitor utilisation of program distribution and insurance activities to ensure all relevant criteria/ conditions are not breached at any point and escalating to internal/ external stakeholders when needed
• Coordinate with Group offices on monthly reporting, MI submissions, finance queries and perform data analytics for management consumption
• Act as first point of contact and provide advisory to group offices on operational issues, matters relating to distribution, monitoring and assessment of outsourcing arrangement
• Lending support and assistance to other regional and global Trade Asset Distribution team.
• Provide business requirements to Technology functions and operations teams to build systems/ infrastructure to support distribution activities
• Participate in the implementation and oversight of GTS policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance

To be successful you will need:

• Excellent understanding of GTS Structured Trade Finance products and good understanding of other GTS Products.
• Good understanding of risk distribution process as well as non-payment insurance
• Ability to structure bespoke and innovative distribution solutions
• Strong understanding of internal GTS systems and excellent technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel/ Access
• Past working experience in a correlated role, i.e. either GTS structuring team and/or distribution, syndication or Portfolio Management
• Experience in a Global bank structuring complex multi-jurisdictional transactions
