Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• 6+ years in an application support, system administration or related role.
• Hands on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
• Stellar problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking prowess.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team-oriented mindset with a dash of independence.
• Strong experience in at least one domain: trading workflow (OMS/EMS) or BI tools

Responsibilities

• Provide follow-the-sun L1/L2 Production Support for Front Office applications and platforms (Portfolio Management, Order & Execution Management, Trading Lifecycle, Investment workflows, and Research/Analytics).
• Production Monitoring: ensure health and performance using monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Incident Management: respond to incidents and document resolutions.
• Change Management: review and execute system upgrades and deployments with minimal disruption.
• User Support: provide support to end-users and stakeholders for production services.
• Vendor Engagement: collaborate with vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Issue Investigation: investigate production issues with cross-functional teams for mitigation.
• System Resiliency Management: drive failover and disaster recovery processes.
• Documentation: maintain run books and configuration docs.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
