VP Product Owner - Risk Transformation & AI

Job summary

Bank of Singapore in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Product Owner to lead risk-management system improvements within the Lending squad. You will collaborate with Credit, Market and Operational Risk teams and manage end-to-end delivery of strategic risk initiatives.

In this role you will define strategy, backlogs, release plans and ensure governance through OKRs. You will align across squads, secure resources, and drive adoption of Agile practices while focusing on customer outcomes and process

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in change management, digital transformation, product management, project management or related fields.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery, digital products, AI-enabled solutions or data transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement and organisational adoption practices.
• Proven experience in supporting delivery of AI, Generative AI, data analytics, digital, or enterprise technology solutions from concept through production.
• Good understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, AI governance, and data-driven product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop the overall strategy focusing on value creation for business growth, customer centricity and risk and controls.
• Ownership of customer journey for the Product(s) assigned/responsible for within risk management (including external stakeholders).
• Partner with other squads/tribes to track project milestones and OKRs for governance and progress.
• Plan and maintain backlog and capacity, conduct feasibility analysis, scoping and release planning.
• Determine work scope, investment, prioritisation of opportunities and resource sizing.
• Coordinate with chapter leads to source the right talent for each squad.
