Job summary

Citi is seeking a VP - Payments & Liquidity Product Sales (Business Development) to originate, structure, and execute complex cash management mandates for high-growth Chinese MNCs expanding across Asia Pacific. You will bridge China corporate HQ with regional teams, leading multi-market solutions and contributing to sales management activities.

The role requires >5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of cash management, and ability to coordinate cross-border deals with stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product sales or business development.
• Curiosity, enthusiasm and tenacity to handle challenges within tight timelines.
• Ability to marry client needs with Citi's product capabilities to develop customized solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cash management products and corporate treasury challenges.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive deal solutioning for Chinese corporates expanding across APAC, crafting multi-market cash management and liquidity structures.
• Act as a connectivity node between China coverage teams and regional/country teams to ensure cohesive cross-border execution.
• Meet Sales Management goals tied to pipeline management, deal reviews and project kick-offs.
• Lead and prepare client presentations.
• Coordinate internal deal processes, obtain approvals, close, and handover to implementation; respond to RFPs/RFIs to position Citi to win mandates.
• Deliver outstanding cash management solutioning as a centre of expertise to drive regional client opportunities.
