Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking an experienced Business/Systems Analyst to drive requirements, design, and testing for financial services projects in Singapore.

You will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs, configure workflows, support testing, and train end-users, ensuring quality delivery across SDLC with CBAP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Admin with strong English communication.
• 7–10 years’ experience as a Business/ Systems Analyst in bank, FI or consultancy.
• Logical, analytical with attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
• Certified BA (CBAP) preferred; technical SDLC background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan for development activities and provide effort estimates.
• Discuss and work with users to understand, analyze, validate requirements.
• Translate compliance requirements into actionable specifications for teams.
• Design functional solutions aligned with CLM workflows and vendors.
• Document functional specifications and obtain sign-off.
• Configure policy rules, workflows, data mappings, and UI behavior.
• Analyze data and screening results to support tuning and optimization.
• Support system testing and assist in UAT.
• Prepare training materials and train end users; provide technical support.
• Escalate issues to PM and handle BAU tasks.
