Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar in IT system implementation projects.
• Strong requirements elicitation and analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specs.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience documenting requirements, process flows, user stories, and interface requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders and users to understand objectives, processes, pain points, and requirements.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and grooming workshops.
• Analyze high-level business requirements, service journeys, and user stories.
• Break down requirements into detailed functional requirements and system behaviours.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business needs through design, development and testing.
• Analyze current and future-state processes; develop process flows and use cases.
• Define business rules, validations, and processing scenarios; ensure technical feasibility.
• Prepare Functional Design Specifications or equivalent documentation.
• Develop and refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support estimation and planning with clarified scope and dependencies.
• Collaborate with developers and testers during implementation to resolve clarifications.
• Define interface and integration requirements with relevant teams.
