Great Eastern is transforming how our customers and advisors engage with digital interfaces. As VP, User Experience Design, you will lead research, UX/UI design and prototyping, turning complex requirements into clear, engaging experiences and ensuring design quality through implementation.

You will apply generative and agentic AI in the design process, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and mentor the team to raise design standards across journeys and platforms.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in UX, interaction design or design research and a relevant degree.
• Strong portfolio with UX thinking and exceptional UI craft.
• Experience across diverse digital projects; insurance/financial services exposure is a plus.
• Strong eye for visual and interaction detail, including typography and responsive behavior.
• Experience using generative and agentic AI in design.

Responsabilidades

• Synthesize issues and frame strategies across journeys, channels and platforms.
• Define research approaches and plans to obtain useful data, and translate them into actions, guiding principles and measurements.
• Conceptualise product experiences and design experiments to test assumptions.
• Design high-quality interfaces and interactions across mobile, desktop, conversational, voice and agentic experiences.
• Develop prototypes, test designs with users and refine based on evidence and feedback.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency in implementation.
• Apply generative and agentic AI in the design process, including research synthesis and AI-assisted prototyping.
• Work with cross-functional teams from concept through launch, partnering with developers to maintain design quality.
• Raise the quality of design through critique and sharing of good design practices.
• Communicate research insights and the value of design to senior stakeholders in business language.
