Great Eastern is seeking a VP of User Experience Design to lead UX, UI and prototyping across web, mobile and AI-enabled interfaces. You will translate complex requirements into clear, engaging experiences and stay close to implementation to ensure design integrity.

With 8+ years in UX, you will drive research plans, conceptualize product experiences, and guide cross-functional teams from concept to launch while continuously improving based on real-world data.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in UX, interaction design, experience design or design research.
• Degree in Design, Psychology, Business, Digital Technology or related discipline.
• Strong portfolio showing UX thinking and exceptional UI craft.
• Broad exposure across industries and digital projects, including insurance/financial services a plus.

Responsabilités

• Synthesize issues and define product directions across journeys, channels and platforms.
• Define research approaches and translate insights into action plans and measurements.
• Conceptualize product experiences delivering the key value proposition and test ideas.
• Design high-quality interfaces across mobile, desktop, conversational and voice interfaces.
• Develop prototypes, test with users and refine based on feedback.
• Evolve the design system and ensure consistency from concept to delivery.
• Apply generative and agentic AI in the design process to enhance outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept through launch and monitor post-launch performance.
• Raise design quality through critique, coaching and sharing best practices.
• Communicate research insights and design value to senior stakeholders in business terms.
