Job summary

The Bank of New York Mellon in Singapore seeks a Vice President, Middle Office to lead a team handling trade management for securities and FX. You will coordinate daily workflows, oversee client inquiries, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will manage staff performance, participate in testing cycles (JSIT/JUAT/UAT), and ensure quality across trade activities and reporting. Singapore-based, on-site role with exposure to global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent combined experience.
• Experience in Middle Office operations and team leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Middle Office staff responsible for Trade Management activities including securities and FX.
• Handle trade-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, clients, brokers, custodians and vendors.
• Provide oversight for processing, trend analysis, client engagement, SLA reviews, and process improvement.
• Manage performance and priorities for the Middle Office team.
• Ensure daily workflows and reporting across equity, fixed income and FX transactions.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve transaction issues promptly.
• Oversee testing phases (JSIT, JUAT, UAT) and client testing/conversions.
