Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) seeks an experienced IT procurement and vendor governance professional to lead end-to-end sourcing, contract management, and third-party risk across the Asia Pacific region.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance and Risk Management to optimize costs, consolidate vendors, ensure regulatory alignment, and maintain a centralized contract repository for IT engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor governance.
• Experience in financial services and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT procurement, sourcing activities, and vendor evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts, manage lifecycle, and monitor SLAs.
• Coordinate third-party risk assessments and outsourcing governance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and business units.
