Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of leadership in Data Governance/Management within banking or financial services.
• Deep expertise in BCBS 239 and large-scale Data Governance transformations.
• Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, operating models, Data Risk, AI Governance, and compliance practices.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and complex organizational change programmes.
• Strong strategic thinking, business analysis, and problem-solving for governance frameworks.
• Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influence with senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial/analytical acumen to enable growth and efficiency.
• Ability to lead through complexity with governance discipline and risk management.
• High integrity and commitment to regulatory excellence and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and executive sponsorship for BCBS 239 adoption and governance across the enterprise.
• Define and govern Data Governance, Data Risk, Data Quality, and Data Control operating models.
• Lead multi-year Data Governance strategy and transformation roadmap with business alignment.
• Provide leadership for Data Governance and Data Management functions and develop leaders.
• Advise senior management and governance committees on data governance matters.
• Collaborate with executives across regions to drive governance initiatives and data culture programs.
• Establish executive governance reporting for governance maturity, compliance, and value realization.
• Champion responsible AI practices and governance reporting across the organization.
