Job summary

Nscale seeks a VP Design, APAC, in Singapore, to lead the region's data centre design function. You will assemble and guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, BIM specialists and design managers to ensure high-quality, timely, cost-effective designs.

You will act as the senior technical authority for APAC designs, adapt Nscale’s reference design to local climates and regulations, and drive design governance, risk management and value engineering across projects.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years in mission-critical design with data centres.
• 10+ years leading multidisciplinary design teams.
• Deep knowledge of data centre power and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC design function, set direction and priorities.
• Build regional team and shape structure as portfolio grows.
• Line-manage Directors of Electrical, Mechanical, Architecture and BIM.
• Foster rigour, ownership, collaboration and calm delivery under pressure.
• Develop leaders and succession across the team.
• Own sign-off of design stages and construction-ready handover.
