Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Singapore is seeking a Vice President, Enterprise Data Products, to lead strategic analytics initiatives across SMBC's APAC franchise. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in enterprise analytics, BI, data transformation, or data management roles.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale analytics and data initiatives within banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
• Strong experience managing senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-border and cross-functional initiatives across APAC.
• Experience implementing analytics solutions across the entire data-to-insight lifecycle.
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to influence decision-making and drive business transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics strategy and partnerships with senior leaders across multiple business lines.
• Develop multi-year analytics roadmaps aligned to APAC strategy.
• Translate requirements into scalable analytics products, dashboards, data assets, and automation.
• Serve as trusted advisor on data strategy and governance.
• Drive data-driven decision making through self-service analytics and literacy programs.
• Oversee end-to-end analytics delivery and program management across APAC.
