Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager for its Consumer Goods Industry Group in Singapore. You will manage a portfolio of clients, understand their business models, and advise on a broad suite of banking solutions to support growth and transformation.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, credit and internal teams to structure tailored financial packages while maintaining credit discipline and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in commercial, SME or corporate banking with relationship management.
• Understanding of Consumer Goods sector and drivers.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to deliver results.
• Self-motivated with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of Consumer Goods clients, serving as their trusted banking partner.
• Develop understanding of clients' business models, growth strategies, financial performance, and industry dynamics.
• Conduct regular client engagements to identify opportunities, address challenges, and support evolving banking needs.
• Advise clients on lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury and other value-added services.
• Collaborate with product partners, credit teams and internal stakeholders to structure and deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Drive portfolio growth through proactive client acquisition, relationship expansion and cross-selling.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments and competitive dynamics within Consumer Goods sector.
• Maintain credit discipline and portfolio quality while ensuring regulatory compliance.
