Gate is seeking a Senior BD professional to build and own the VIP acquisition channel from zero, targeting high-net-worth individuals and professional traders. You will shepherd them through first contact, account setup, initial deposits, and active trading, then hand off to the RM team while preserving relationships.

You will leverage a network of Chinese-speaking traders and discuss leverage, funding and hedging with professionals to earn their trust and long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning high-value clients at a crypto exchange, brokerage or wealth firm.
• Ability to activate existing Chinese-speaking trader networks from day one.
• Ability to discuss leverage, funding and hedging with professional traders.
• Willingness to carry client relationships from first contact to steady trading.

Responsabilités

• Build Gate’s VIP acquisition channel from zero through lists, referrals, trading communities and partnerships.
• Win high-net-worth individuals and professional traders, guiding them from first contact to account opening and active trading.
• Explain product setups to earn volume across spot, futures, with wealth products where applicable.
• Own and manage VIP relationships for the initial months, then transition to RM team with relationships intact.
• Track metrics: VIPs onboarded, assets, trading volume, and revenue; iterate on approach based on results.

Why this role

This is the first dedicated BD role on Gate’s VIP team, a pioneer seat with real room to shape how the function works. You’ll open new channels to high-net-worth individuals and professional traders, bring them onto Gate, and set them up for long-term success with the team. There’s plenty of untapped ground and no fixed playbook to follow. In 12 to 24 months, you’ll have built that playbook yourself, a client base that started with you, and earnings tied directly to the business you bring in.

What you’ll do

• Build Gate’s VIP acquisition channel from zero: target lists, referral networks, trading communities and partnerships
• Win high-net-worth individuals and professional traders, and take each one from first conversation through account opening, first deposit and active trading
• Read how each prospect trades and pitch the setup that earns their volume, across spot and futures, with RWA and wealth products where they fit
• Look after new VIPs yourself for their first three to six months, then hand them to the RM team with the relationship intact
• Own your numbers: funded VIPs onboarded, assets brought in, trading volume and fee revenue, and adjust your approach based on what converts

What you’ll bring

• A track record of winning high-value clients through your own outreach at a crypto exchange, brokerage or wealth firm, with the deposits, volume or revenue to show for it
• An existing network among Chinese-speaking traders, investors or trading communities that you can activate from your first month
• The trading fluency to discuss leverage, funding and hedging with a professional trader and earn their trust on product fit
• Native Chinese and fluent English, and the habit of carrying a client yourself from first contact to steady trading rather than handing off early
