Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Singapore is seeking a Vice President, ICG Coverage to drive growth strategy and manage risk on the portfolio. You will build a deep understanding of the ICG client base and lead revenue growth across the Singapore ICG portfolio.

• Ability to form effective relationships and influence at senior levels within the organization.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product partners and ensure compliance with rules and procedures.
• Act as the First Line of Defence to protect HSBC against Financial Crime and manage credit risk.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, ICG Coverage

In this role you will:

The individual will be driving the growth strategy of the business and managing risk on the portfolio.

• Develop a thorough understanding of the ICG client base
• Drive revenue growth across Singapore ICG portfolio
• Identify marketing opportunities, undertake appropriate analysis and preparation of proposals, presentations and pitches for new products and services.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations as well as contribute to the high quality of client meetings.
• Ensure prompt and appropriate response to customer enquiries and concerns by liaising with product and support teams.
• Contribute to achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment of the team
• Liaise with regional counterparts acting as central point of contact for local matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product partners. Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal & external rules, regulations & procedures.
• Act as the First Line of Defence to protect HSBC against Financial Crime and to ensure credit risk arising from the relationship with the clients is proactively managed at all times

To be successful you will need:

• Knowledge of industry and exposure to ICG clients (local & global) & regulatory environment.
• Proven relevant experience in banking, markets and securities services products
• Preferably knowledge of HSBC Group and products coupled with a strong network of contacts across business areas.
• Advanced understanding of risk management, risk mitigation and Client Due Diligence risks.
• Excellent team player with a proactive approach and strong interpersonal, sales and communication skills
• The ability to form effective relationships and exercise influence at the most senior level of the organization, both internally and externally
• A strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation
