Job summary

Fleet Ship Management Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Technical Superintendent to support the technical team in delivering high quality, sustainable solutions for client vessels.

The role focuses on maintaining vessel standards, monitoring machinery performance, and coordinating maintenance activities with crews. You will review technical reports, assist in fault diagnosis, plan preventive measures, and ensure timely actions are completed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Sailing experience preferred (e.g. 2nd/3rd/4th engineer or 2nd/Chief officer).
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support technical superintendents in day-to-day vessel management.
• Monitor vessel condition, maintenance schedules and reliability.
• Review technical reports and close corrective actions.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance, repairs and scheduled work.
• Assist diagnosing equipment failures and plan preventive actions.
• Liaise with Manning and crew on technical matters.
