Job summary

Fleet Ship Management Pte Ltd seeks an Assistant Technical Superintendent to support the technical team in delivering high-quality, sustainable marine solutions. You will assist with day-to-day vessel management, monitor equipment performance, and coordinate maintenance plans to ensure reliability.

You will review reports, liaise with crew and procurement, and help prepare for audits while maintaining certificates and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Sailing experience preferred (e.g. 2nd/3rd/4th engineer or 2nd/Chief officer).
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Support technical superintendents in day-to-day vessel management and maintenance.
• Monitor vessel condition, machinery performance, and maintenance schedules.
• Review technical reports and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance/repair activities and ensure timely completion.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and plan preventive measures.
• Track vessel defects and ensure proper documentation for audits.
