Job summary

fleet ship management pte. ltd. is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager (Technical Superintendent) to lead both on-shore and off-shore teams in delivering high-quality, sustainable vessel management.

The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective operations across the fleet with responsibility for major maintenance and regulatory compliance. The candidate should have a marine engineering/naval background with STCW CoC and several years of senior vessel experience, including dry-docking and repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering/Navigation or equivalent.
• Hold STCW CoC (MEO Class 1 or CoC II/2 or III/2).
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as Chief Engineer/Second Engineer or Master/Chief Officer on appropriate vessels.

Responsibilities

• Actively lead an on-shore and off-shore team to deliver safe and cost-effective management of vessels.
• Ensure vessel maintenance complies with manufacturer recommendations and organisation procedures.
• Prepare specifications and evaluate tenders; supervise daily operational activities of all assigned vessels.
• Monitor budgetary performance and communicate vessel operation status to Line Manager.
• Drive dry-docking, repairs, and major works within approved budgets; coordinate with procurement for spares.
