Job summary

Salling Search is seeking a Vessel Operations Executive in Singapore to lead post-fixture operations for dry bulk vessels. You will work closely with shipowners, charterers and brokers to ensure smooth voyages and timely communication across all parties.

Responsibilities include managing post-fixture activities, reviewing logistics, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain accurate records and compliant documentation. Prior experience in shipbroking or maritime operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Experience in dry bulk shipping operations or shipbroking preferred.
• Familiarity with charter party terms and shipping documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-fixture operations for dry bulk vessels.
• Coordinate with shipowners, charterers, brokers on voyages.
• Monitor schedules, positions, loading/discharging; update stakeholders.
• Review shipping docs: charter parties, NOR, SOF, bills of lading.
• Handle laytime, demurrage and despatch calculations; ensure timely settlement.
• Maintain voyage records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal shipbroking teams for handovers.
• Perform other operational and administrative duties.
