Job summary

The Kallang Group seeks an experienced Venue Operations Manager for the Water Sports Centre. You will oversee daily venue operations, manage staff, coordinate events, and partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional visitor experiences while maintaining safety and service standards.

You will lead frontline teams, develop operations plans, monitor performance, prepare management reports, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies during events and activities.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university is preferred but not essential.
• Previous supervisory experience in a sports/recreation facility is required.
• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in sports and leisure industry; event management experience preferred.
• Possess valid First Aid and AED Certification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operations and events of the Venues (Water Sports Centre).
• Manage staff and coordinate activities to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Lead day-to-day operations and supervise frontline staff.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Prepare reports and documentation for management and event hirers.
